It has come to the attention of Finansinspektionen (FI), the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, that persons claiming to represent Stockholm Asset Management (clone) are offering financial services to consumers.
Someone uses false information and contact details of a real company to convince consumers that they represent the real company. The use of "(clone)" after a company name means that an existing company's name is being used for fraudulent purposes.
Stockholm Asset Management (clone) is neither authorised by FI to conduct securities business or other financial services in Sweden nor under FI's supervision. FI has not received any notification of cross-border activities from other EEA countries.
FI warns investors and others about doing business with firms that are not authorised to offer financial services. The warnings are compiled in FI's Warning List. A list of all the companies authorised to offer financial services in Sweden can be found in FI's Company Register.
