Finansinspektionens assessment is that the resilience in the financial system is currently satisfactory.

Swedish banks have high capital levels and access to non-expensive funding. However, the banks' need for market funding makes them sensitive to financial turbulence and disruptions on their funding markets.

If investors change their view on risk this could entail asset price falls and financial turbulence.

FI continues to see the high household indebtedness as worrying and thus considers that an amortization requirement should be implemented as soon as possible.
