Summary
Finansinspektionen has decided on new general guidelines for applying for authorisation to conduct banking and financing business. The changes that were implemented primarily are language corrections and update non-current references. The parts related to electronic money have been removed since the rules for applying for authorisation to issue electronic money will now be regulated by a regulation, see FFFS 2011:49.
These general guidelines repeal the general guidelines for applying for authorisation to conduct banking and financing business or issuing electronic money (FFFS 2004:9).
