Summary
Finansinspektionen has issued new regulations and general guidelines regarding stock exchanges' listings of certain holdings of financial instruments. The regulations have not been changed. Corresponding provisions for stock exchanges were previously included in Finansinspektionen's regulations and general guidelines (FFFS 2002:8) regarding listings of certain holdings of financial instruments.
The regulations contain provisions requiring a stock exchange to decide which employees and contractors are subject to the notification obligation in accordance with Chapter 1, section 15 of the Securities Market Act (2007:528). The regulations also contain provisions regarding the content of the list a stock exchange shall maintain pursuant to Chapter 1, section 16 of the same act.
The regulations and general guidelines enter into force on 1 January 2019.
